Do I need to sign up?

No. Songflash makes an account for you the first time you open it. There is no password; the key is kept in iCloud Keychain, so the account follows your Apple ID to a new phone.

How do I add friends?

Under Friends in the app, add them by their exact username, or send them your invite link. When they accept, you see each other on the daily and weekly boards.

How do I change my name or username?

Under Profile in the app.

How do I delete my account?

Under Profile in the app. Your account, name, username, friends and results are removed from our server straight away.

Where do the songs come from?

Song clips and cover art are Apple Music previews, and each song links to Apple Music. Which songs are picked, and how popular they are, comes from Deezer's public charts.

Can I turn off the daily reminder?

Yes. It only comes if you allowed notifications, and you can turn it off under Settings → Notifications → Songflash on your iPhone.
